In the 1960s, Breitling launched alongside the Buren Heuer-Leonidas manufacturers in the mad race for the world's first automatic chronograph. In 1969, this watchmaking association gave birth to Chrono-Matic, the world's first automatic chronograph movement. An unprecedented technological revolution in the watchmaking landscape.
